The founder and director of Trent’s Mortgage and Finance Broking has industry experience and qualifications in the Diploma of Accounting, Advanced Diploma of Accounting, Bachelor of Business Accounting, Certificate IV in Mortgage and Finance broking and the Diploma of Mortgage and Finance Broking.

Do I have to pay you a fee?

There is no out of pocket fee or any fee that you will pay directly to the mortgage broker. Our service is free and we are paid by the lenders via a commission should be successful in getting an approved mortgage application through us. As with any loan or property fees we do our best to ensure you are fully aware of all of the fees and charges applicable to your relevant loan application from the lenders. We will do our best to give you the best possible loan that suits your criteria.

What is a Mortgage broker?

Mortgage brokers are financial intermediaries who matches home borrowers with potential lenders in order to obtain the best possible mortgage for our clients. We can save you time and effort during the application process, and potentially a lot of money over the life of the loan.

What is a pre-approval?

A pre-approval gives you an indication of the maximum amount you can borrow. By getting your pre-approval you have the power to negotiate with confidence.

I’m self-employed can you help?

We do have lenders that cater for self-employed people. Book a free no obligation appointment to find out more.

Can I just come in and see you?

Appointments will need to be made through our booking app and you can pick a time and day and if you want to come into my office or if you want me to meet you at another place. You will need to select the time, date and the location address if it’s not at my office.

Why don’t I just go to the bank myself?

We help our clients access all different loans and options from several lenders whereas the banks just have a few options.

What is your customer complaints policy?

Clients are given a Credit Guide and Privacy Consent form to sign when they at the beginning of their first initial consultation. This document outlines that if a client has a complaint, information on how to lodge a complaint will be outlined on the Credit Guide and Privacy Consent Form.

Can you see your clients remotely?

At this stage while the lockdown is still on we are only offering remote consultations via Zoom. When restrictions ease and we are able to see our clients face to face you will be welcome to make an appointment to come and visit me in my office. If you prefer just to see me remotely through that will still be on offer to my clients.
